Sunday Bible Study – Hebrews

The Old Testament is full of references to the Messiah, all of which pointed to Jesus. Although the Son of God did not come to earth until a specific point in history, He is pictured, referred to, or prophesied about in every book.

The book of Hebrews is a New Testament book that reflects back on these references and shows how Jesus completely fulfilled each reference. The book tells us that Christ Jesus is better than anything mere religion has to offer. All the pomp and circumstance of religion pales in comparison to the person, work, and ministry of Christ Jesus. It is the superiority of our Lord Jesus that is the central theme of this eloquently written letter.

Join us as we explore how Jesus is the perfect reflection of God and, as our Savior, has replaced the sacrificial system, making direct interaction with God possible.
