Women’s Ministry – Activities Just For Women
Lunches, Brunches, Covered Dish Suppers, etc.
The Women’s Ministry offers a variety of fun and inspirational programs throughout the year, providing excellent opportunities for meaningful fellowship in a Christian atmosphere! These events are open to all ladies at Fairway, members, as well as, non-members. We especially encourage inviting friends and neighbors to be a part of the fun!
Monthly Teams
All of these events are possible because of the efforts of our Women’s Ministry “teams”. Being a part of one of the teams provides an opportunity to develop closer relationships with your Fairway sisters. Teams offer nurturing care to fellow team members, support and encouragement to new women in the church and the opportunity to participate in approved church and community service activities. All women at Fairway are encouraged to be a part of one of these teams. If interested, please call the church office for contact information.
Special Events and Outings
Socials and outings are special opportunities for reaching out with the love of Christ. They are designed specifically for the women of Fairway and their invited guests.
* They are the perfect opportunity to reach out to friends and neighbors, who might want to develop a closer connection with Christian sisters.
* They are designed to encourage spiritual growth through learning and laughter.
* Some events take place in the evening or on weekends, thereby offering opportunities to those who may not be able to participate during the week.
* All are designed to enhance women’s spiritual growth by using their God given gifts and talents to promote fellowship, encouragement, ministry, and service to and support for one another.
All women in the church are invited to participate in these special events.
Retreat Programs
Retreats provide the opportunity to:
* Deepen one’s faith by drawing closer to our Lord.
* Get away and slow down.
* Leave cares and concerns behind for a couple of days.
* Develop deep and meaningful fellowship with Christian Sisters.
* Form close bonds of Friendship.
* Have fun.

Hands of Mercy Everywhere
The Women’s Ministry supports with monetary donations this non profit facility, located in Belleview, for teens and unwed mothers. Periodically, we provide additional support through the collection of items that they may require. Monthly Teams may choose to select this ministry as their community service project and/or as their program at a monthly luncheon.
