Music is a very important part of our worship and is the fulfilling of the Bible’s instructions to Sing until one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God. (Colossians 3:16)   As this suggests, we provide a variety of music by having two music styles in our worship services.
Traditional hymns of worship and praise are used in our Sunday traditional service accompanied by organ and piano.  We have a choir which sings special music on most Sundays.
Contemporary songs are used in our Sunday contemporary service and our Saturday night worship service.  The music is led by a worship team of singers accompanied by instrumentalists playing guitars, keyboards, drums and occasional other instruments.
While we have hymnbooks for the traditional service, we project the words on screens for easy viewing and singing along in all the services.
Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry.  Some play their instruments.  Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir.  Still others get involved in drama.  These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Our Choir is open to all who can sing.  One does not have to read music to belong.  The choir practices during the non-summer months on Wednesdays from 5-6:30 pm.  In addition to singing most Sundays (except in the summer), the choir usually has special presentations at Christmas, Easter, and some special holidays.
Our Worship Team requires an audition and certain qualifications.  We currently have two teams, one for Saturday night service and one for our Sunday Contemporary service.

If you have organ and/or piano skills, we would welcome your interest in accompanying our traditional worship music.
Also, if you have instrumental skills (keyboard, guitar, drums, etc.) appropriate for our contemporary worship team, we would like to know.
If you have hand bell or tone chime experience, please let us know.

At times we utilize various worship arts for which we seek those with an interest and experience.  We occasionally will incorporate brief dramas into our worship services, and often we will have a major musical drama for a Christmas or Easter program.  Those with the ability to paint, draw, construct stage sets, or provide other related services should indicate that to us.
If you have worship arts experience or ideas, we would welcome your suggestions.
